Personal Training

Java Fitness Personal Training sessions are tailored to your individual needs, goals, and inspirations. Our ultimate aim is to support you in meeting your goals by developing challenging workouts that vary session to session. One week, we may go “boot camp” style. Another week, you may want to dance your body into shape or challenge yourself to some power yoga. The variations are limitless.


Our first session will begin with a full fitness assessment, in accordance with the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) model, consisting of a physiologic assessment, body composition testing, cardio-respiratory assessment, postural assessment, and performance assessment. From there, we will work together to design the most effective program for you. After each session, we will leave you with a suggested plan and workout schedule for the remainder of the week!


We encourage our clients with weight-loss goals to maintain food logs each week. We have found food logging to be of great assistance in an effective, weight-loss program.  You can download your food logging template here: click to download.


For both One-On-One and Partner training (two participants), we conduct sessions in-home, at office gyms, outdoors, or at other mutually convenient locations. We believe strongly in the benefits of exercising outdoors and encourage our clients to do so whenever possible and appropriate. All levels welcome. One-On-One Rates (With Java) (Effective January 1, 2013):

1 60-minute private session (including the initial assessment)- $150.00
Package of 4 60-minute sessions (including the initial assessment)- $480.00
Package of 8 60-minute sessions (including the initial assessment)- $960.00


Partner (2 participants) Rates (With Java):

1 60-minute session (including the initial assessment)- $75.00 per person
Package of 4 60-minute sessions (including the intial assessment)-$240.00 per person
Package of 8 60-minute sessions (including the initial assessment)- $480.00 per person


Small Group (3 Participants) Rates (With Java):

1 60-minute session (including the initial assessment)-$50.00 per person; Package of 4--$40.00 per person
